Your Career Success Score:

Here's What Your Score Means

You are an asset to you company. You know it. And your company knows it. It means you're on the radar of the people in the company who can provide you with opportunities to grow in your career. You are in the top 10%, which means the ball is in your court when it comes to career success.

The only thing to watch out for is complacency. Because you're aware of your own value in the company you may stop doing the things that got you to this point. Don't assume the people within your organization will always think of you when the right opportunity comes around. It is up to you to continue being at the top of their minds.

Our recommendation is for you to focus on 3 key areas to help you progress to that next level of career success!

Learn to Create the outcomes you want

“It’s Not What You Know, It’s WHO You know.”

We’ve all heard this phrase countless times before. And it’s TRUE!

But rarely does anyone take the time to tell you who are the people you build a strong, healthy relationship with in order to go far in your career.

Well, let us help you with that.

Try to build a relationship with 5 types of people in the workplace. Specifically, someone who can

  1. 1
Use his/her experience and mistakes to teach you what to do and NOT to do so that you can find success FASTER.
  2. 2
Show you how things work and come together – within your company and your industry … FASTER.
  3. 3
Connect you to opportunities and decision makers… FASTER.
  4. 4
Move you up the ladder … FASTER.
  5. 5
Get you back on your feet when things go sideways or when you make mistakes … FASTER.

Don't feel pressured or compelled to seek out all of these 5 types of people. Even if you spend time to develop just one of these relationships, you can set yourself on the path to success.

If you would like to learn how to:

  • Find these 5 types of people within your organization or network,

Learn to create the right environment for your success

It's important for you not to assume 3 things.

1.  DON'T ASSUME you'll be able to adapt to a new job, role, or project instantly!

As talented as you are, don't leave it up to chance.

Changes and transitions require a strategy that serves as a routine. Anytime there is a change in the company, like a restructure, a change in objective, or you KPIs, you want to be able to adapt quickly so that you don't just survive the change, but thrive.

People who adapt to new situations and environments are the ones that find new opportunities and success within the chaos.

That person could be you.

So ask yourself one question: What routine can I create for myself to be able to adapt to any change quickly?

2.  DON'T ASSUME the same things that brought you here will get you to where you want to go!

Whenever you reach your goal and you start to plan for your new goal, always ask yourself: What personal beliefs will not serve me as I pursue this new goal?

Maybe to achieve your new goal, you no longer can work alone. You may need partners or allies to help you reach that destination. Therefore you may need to stop thinking, "I'll just do it" and start thinking "How can I empower someone else to do it?"

Make sure your personal beliefs serves the goal you are working towards NOT the goal you've already accomplished.

3.  DON'T ASSUME people know who you are!

You may be a top performer. But don't assume that your work speaks for itself. The right people may still not know who you are.

You need to build and promote your own personal brand in a way that is:

  1. 1
    Authentically you, and
  2. 2
Let's everyone know you are the person they should turn to for the thing you want to be known for.

Remember, the best opportunities come when people seek you out, not the other way around.

If you would like to learn how to:

  • Create foundational habits to practice whenever you begin a new job/role/ project
  • Instil beliefs that help you move forward faster in your career
  • Build a strong personal brand at the workplace that gets you the opportunities you deserve...

Learn to manage yourself and Create your own success

"Don't come to me with problems, come to me with solutions!"

How many times have you heard your managers or leaders say this?

This ties into one of the most powerful assets you must have...the ability to solve problems.

More than your skills and experience, organisations want problem solvers. People who can figure out solutions to complex problems, situations, and relationships.

In fact, managers "“key in on team members who get the job done regardless of the circumstances and available resources.”

It's the problem solvers who will always be at the top of managers and leaders mind whenever new opportunities and roles come up.

Therefore, it's important to figure out what are your strengths, and how you can use it to your advantage to solve problems that help the organisation excel.
